Nature Hot Spot:
Hochdorf an der Enz
Hochdorf an der Enz is a small village north-west of Stuttgart, in about a 30min drive distance. It is not a nature reserve as such, but I still highly enjoyed taking a walk in the nothern fields and forests of the town.
I just a lovely view and countryside, very calm, very traditional, and offers a welcome escape and change from the crowded city of Stuttgart.
I spotted 2 partridge families, some deer and birds of prey. During auturm 2020, golden plovers paused for a couple of days during their migration, and even a white-tailed eagled was reported here.
