Munich

Though home to 1.5M residents, Munich has to offer some nice places allowing to escape the city noise and enjoy urban nature and wild life.

My most liked nature spots in Munich are:

1.) Nymphenburg palace park - home to the famous tawny owl "Kasimir", kingfisher, barnacle geese, the common merganser, and many more

2.) "Flaucher" - a very popular area in Munich, in which the Isar has been renatured and resembles a wild river in many ways. You can see species like kingfisher, dipper, swans, different geese, waterfowl, gulls, and various park birds.

3.) The Isar river is the lifeline of Munich, magnet for people and nature alike
